I recently sent out a newsletter about the Afternoon Comics Store at Threadbare. Since then, I decided to instead go with Printify.
Since last week I’ve added about 250 items to the store. T-shirts, phone cases, coffee mugs, giclees of images, and hats. I’ll add a lot more as I go along. Check it out, please.
In addition to all that, I’m working on Blueboy Brown Comics #6. This begins the Black & White series. Bad times for Blueboy. If you caught BBC#5, Blueboy was arrested for a murder he didn’t commit that occurred as the first volley of a gang war. Poor Blueboy is in the middle of it, and Rascal Jack Smith is out to get our boy. He doesn’t know his family has turned against him for the dang fool idea of trying to wipe out the village of Chidester and haul off all the women for a tidy profit. His kinfolk went sour on the idea when they realized the residents of Chidester have guns. That’s dangerous they said and you gotta give them credit for a little sense, because snatching unsuspecting women off the road is a lot different than laying siege to a town full of veterans of the Spanish-American War. Or at least hunters with rifle collections. Cooler heads prevailed, except Leroy’s lust for Hixie Brown got the better of his judgment, and now he’s six foot under.
The next installment hits Kickstarter in mid-January. Should be fun. Here’s a selection of the cool merch in the new store.
